What is ciePhoto?

It can help automate the process of capturing, editing, and managing shipping container and trailer photos to streamline your export documentation and claims handling. It replaces your digital camera, eliminating the tedious and time consuming task of manually downloading, renaming, editing, and organizing photos while helping to avoid lost or misplaced images.

ciePhoto works by allowing a set of pictures to be taken for each worksheet or shipping container and uploads them directly into the cieTrade database over a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Photos are first resized and edited for international customs, including CCIC, and then attached directly to corresponding worksheet(s) in cieTrade matched either by a load or container number. Uploaded pictures can be viewed and managed directly from the cieTrade system using the “Photos Received” inquiry or from the "Documents" tab on the Worksheet form. Once a complete set of photos are received for a booking, cieTrade can expedite its delivery to your customer and help avoid penalties for missed deadlines by producing a complete “documentation packet” that includes images of all the containers that were shipped.
