Using the Subscription Module

The Subscription module was built to give clients access to their cieTrade subscription payment details, and allows clients to update this information directly on their database.  Additionally, account owners can now assign access for other users at their company, so more than one user can view these details and alter them when needed.

Navigating to the Subscription Module 

The Subscription page can be found by navigating to  Settings > Subscription when logged onto the database as the account owner, or a user who was provided access.  

Providing Access for Other Users

Out of the box only the user who is the account owner will be able to view this module.  Please note, account ownership is not determined by the Permission Role assigned to your user profile.  The account owner will be the user who was initially registered when the database was created and the company signed on to join cieTrade.  To provide permissions for another user to view and update account details, the account owner can do so in Settings > Users & Roles.  

Click on the user profile to open the edit screen.  Under the  User Access section, check off Can Edit Subscription Info.  Once saved, this user can now view and edit within the Subscription module when they log into the system.

Modules and Features

There are a number of modules included in this area of the system, which provide clients with access to on-demand details about their subscription.

Summary-  This displays an overview of the billing information recorded for your database.  

  • When the card on file has gone past it's expiration date, users will receive an error message pointing this out and suggesting to update the payment method.
  • If a subscription payment has not gone through, a past due balance will be listed under Balance Due.  

Payment Method-  All payment method information will be provided within this module.  Users are able to update these details directly on this page, which then pushes the new payment information to our credit card processing site.

Documents-  Under the Documents module we store all documents associated with your account, that cieTrade has uploaded for you.  This can include your SSA, custom workflow document(s), signed engagement letters, etc.  In general, this module is meant to grant clients access to those documents for your convenience.

Professional Services-  cieTrade offers professional services for custom reports, document modifications, inquiries, or any other programming changes, whether they’re within or external to the context of the platform. Upon signing on with cieTrade, all clients are entitled to a specific number of hours conducted by our team, as outlined in your SSA contract, that come free of charge with the subscription.  These are then tracked in the Professional Services module, so clients can view how many hours they have left, along with a detailed report of which projects consumed their hours.

Billing History- This module allows users to view and export a history of their subscription payments from cieTrade as needed.
