Navigating cieMobile
cieMobile is a free mobile app for Apple and Android devices. It allows sales reps and managers to have instant access to their cieTrade.net data and key reports. cieMobile helps you stay in control of your operations and minimizes calls to your back office. Getting Started:
- Set up your log in credentials in cieTrade. Visit our helpfile here for more detailed instructions on this process.
- Download cieMobile from the app store.
- Upon opening the app, you will be prompted for your credentials. Enter them.
There are four subpages within the app. They are:

Home | View Open AR, Sales, Purchase balances and Summary level Order and Worksheet totals |
Accounts | View all of your counterparties and contacts associated |
Search | Search by Worksheet, Release or Order number |
Settings | App settings. User settings will be carried over from the system |
Navigating the App:
Once you login, you will be taken to the Home page by default. The Dept button in the upper right will default to your naive settings and permissions. Clicking on Dept will allow you to segment the data being returned.
The Home page:
Each segment can be clicked on to drill down into the worksheets and orders that make up that total.
The Accounts page:
1. Contacts and Accounts can be searched for manually or searched for on this page.
2. To edit or create a new contact ( new as of October 2024) click on the account you want to add or edit a contact on.
3. Click the contacts line and it will bring you to the list of contacts associated. Click the + in the upper right to open a new contact or click on the existing contact to edit.
4. Enter the needed information and click save.
To edit and email existing Orders (new as of October 2024)
1. From the home screen, click on the Account page.
2.Click on an account. This will list all orders. Green dots mean they are in Open status. Grey dots indicate they are not.
3. Click on an order. In the upper right corner, click on the pencil icon to bring up the edit interface.
4. Make the appropriate changes, click Save.
5. If you want to send the PDF of the order, click on the email icon at the upper right. This will bring up an email with pulled information from the counterparty and Order
To create a new Order (new as of October 2024)
1. From the Accounts tab, click on the counterparty you want to make an order for.
2. Click on Orders. If they have other orders, there will be a number of orders in ().
3. This will bring you to the Order page, where you can view all of the order history. Click on the + in the upper right corner to create a new Order.
4. Enter the details and click Save
The Search page:
1. The app search bar functions the same as the system search bar, allowing users to search partial release or order numbers and select from those.
The Settings page:
The Settings page is where you can check your permissions, change the UOM that is being reported, or logout.
To change your UOM:
- Choose the UOM you would the app to report in. The options are LBS, ST, and MT.
To logout:
- Click the Sign Out button.
