How To Delete a Service Record

In order to delete a Service Record, it cannot be actively referencing anything in the system. Here are the areas to check:

1. On the dispatch tab of the service record. This needs to be empty, meaning this service record has not been refenced on any dispatch tickets. 

2. On the Billing Manager tab, run a search by this customer, location and equipment type. This will need to have no results. 

Once you have determined it was not referenced in the system, you are ready to delete it. 

1. Set the record as inactive. Click Edit on the Service Record. Then uncheck the "active" box:

2. Click "Save" then go to "More Actions" and click "Delete."

NOTE: Delete will only be available to click once the record can be deleted and the above criteria have been met.
