How to partially convert an inventory lot

cieTrade allows the flexibility to pull varying weight from a single inventory lot onto one or more converting jobs. 

1. Starting on a Converting Job, click +Select inventory

2. Choose the lot of inventory you want to partially consume/deplete on this job

3. Click Apply to bring it onto the Converting Job. At this point, the entire lot is going to show as 'committed' if you were to run an inventory available report.

4. Click on the input line. A pop up will allow you to enter the weight amount you want to convert on this job.

5. Click Apply. This will pull only the weight you just entered onto this Converting Job. The remaining uncommitted weight will be left in inventory. 

NOTE: if you need to pull more from this bulk weight as the converting job progresses, simply click on the Input line again and change the weight you are using.
