Warehouse Module: Packing Slip

The warehouse management tool is meant to be used in conjunction with the back office to manage and organize the shipping process.

1) Set up a Shipping Worksheet in the back office. Select the Customer, warehouse, and Sold As items. You can also enter a freight carrier as an expense if you want the warehouse to provide a BOL directly. This information can also be added on the fly by the warehouse from the warehouse management tool.

2) When the worksheet is fully staged, change the Warehouse status to 'Scheduled'. This will make it appear on the Schedule page in the Warehouse Management tool.

3) From the warehouse Schedule page, the warehouse user can select the 'Packing' tab. There are filters to help them search for a particular Packing Slip if needed.

4) On the Packing Slip, the warehouse user can see the Order Items to Pick & the Quantities. They have the option of printing the Packing Slip or using a barcode scanner to batch upload codes or using the 'Pick Inventory' page to manually select the inventory items.

5) After the items have been selected and pulled onto the Packing Slip, the warehouse user can print a BOL to give the freight carrier.

6) Once the inventory has been selected and the packing slip is complete, the warehouse user can change the Warehouse-Status to 'Completed'. This will also change the status on the Shipping Worksheet's warehouse status.

7) The back office can review the Packing List and send necessary documentation to the freight carrier or to the Customer.
