Why aren't my index formulas updating?
If you are attempting to update your formula pricing and they are not affecting your Orders, please check out the following troubleshooting steps.
1) Is the Order marked as Contract?
If they are set to 'Spot' (the default) then you will need to change them to 'Contract'.
to do this, click Edit Order> select Contract> Click on the Products/Grade detail line> you can now choose a formula to tie to the price.
Click save on the Products/Grade window and save the entire Order.
2) Is the Order in Open or Closed status?
Filter on the Sales/Purchase Order inquiry page for 'Closed' status Orders within the month that you want to update pricing in. This is an easy way to see if you have prematurely closed them. If so, click 'Edit Order'> change the status to 'Open'> click Save.
3) What period are the Orders in?
4) Have you set the correct minimum price on the index formula?
