Using the Claim Status

Users can utilize the Claim Status drop-down menu on worksheets to flag them for claim tracking. To begin using the claim status, please see below.

Setup

The first step will be to define the different statuses that are applicable to your business. To begin, navigate to your Settings > Common Information > Claim Status. From here, you can define your own status which will populate the drop-down menu (on worksheets), and be an available option for you to select. To save a new status:

  1.  Navigate to Common Information > Claim Status.
  2. Click + Add New.
  3. Enter the name of the status.
  4. Click Save Settings once finished.

How to Use

Claim Status is defined at the worksheet level. To get started, open a new or existing Brokerage or Shipping Worksheet. The Claim Status field/drop down menu can be found under the Shipping References section. Click the field, then select the applicable Claim Status.

To filter for Worksheets with a Claim Status, go to the correlating inquiry (either Shipping or Brokerage), and select the Status:
