How to add Warehouse Locations

Adding & Using Warehouse Locations

Please note: Adding a Warehouse Location to a Serial inventory item includes it as an attribute for that item. When the Warehouse Location is selected on Bulk inventory items, will be separated from the serialized inventory items in the Inventory Manager and can only be selected when you filter by location. Also, on a Converting Job or on an Inventory Shipping Worksheet, after you select a Bulk grade and the corresponding Location filter, the Quantity on Hand of that product will display. 

You can create specific Warehouse Locations and apply them to material or products being received into inventory.  This feature allows you to pick specific places in your storeroom or warehouse to track where that inventory will be kept. For example: Bin #56, Shelf #103, Row 5, etc. 

To create Warehouse Locations, go to Settings > Warehouses > Locations Tab > +New Location

In Received Inventory Worksheets, you will now be able to select 'Bin 35' as a Location:

To filter a search by Location:

You can use the Location to filter your search for a specific product or material from the Inventory Manager page. 

Additionally, you can use the Location filter on the pick list on an Inventory Shipping worksheet or Input Items on a Converting Job.
