How do I record the movement of inventory from one warehouse to another?

If there are freight costs associated with the movement of inventory from one warehouse to another, you can use the Expense Allocation tool to pick the inventory items and assign a freight cost that will be capitalized into the item(s).

The example below shows three bales from inventory being moved to Cranberry warehouse with a cost of $275.

PLEASE NOTE: The Posting Date must be after the receiving date of the inventory.
