Inquiries & Reporting
Most inquiries in cieTrade.net have the ability to be customized or export data from the inquiry in
XLS or
CSV formatting. These features support your company's unique workflow by minimizing additional keystrokes and scrolling in order to locate key information.
Customizing Columns
Column customization begins by selecting the Customize button at the top left of the inquiry page.
From here you can select which columns appear on your inquiry by toggling the check boxes. The order in which they appear can also be altered by utilizing the up and down arrows.
Please note that all of these changes can be easily reverted to their defaults by selecting the refresh button on the lower right-hand side of the column box.
Exporting Inquiries & Reports
Inquiries in cieTrade.net can be exported as either CSV or Excel files for additional data manipulation. This is useful in the event that you need to analyze a data set in a specific way outside of cieTrade.net.
To export your inquiry's results, select the desired format from the
Export As drop down. If you select
XLS a new spreadsheet will open outside of cieTrade.net containing all the information presented in the inquiry following the same column-based format. cieTrade.net also supports
CSV formatting, if you need to export this information to a data analysis program that does not support XLS files.
