How to create bulk output on a converting job

cieTrade allows you to quickly create multiple output items with uniform weights, packaging types, and attributes. This feature is ideal for paper manufacturers and is available only for packaging types that use Roll or Sheets attributes.

To create default output items:

1. On the Converting Job, under the Output section, click + Set Default.
2. Complete the fields in the Set Default Output window:
   • Product – Select the product being produced.
   • Units – Enter the number of output items you expect to create. This determines how many output lines cieTrade will generate.
   • Unit Type – Select the packaging type. If the packaging type uses Roll or Sheets attributes, the corresponding attribute fields will automatically appear.
   • Qty per Unit – Enter the average weight to assign to each output item.
   • Apply Any Remaining Weight – Determines how any weight difference between the input and output is handled:
     • Checked: Any remaining weight is added to the final output item.
     • Unchecked: cieTrade automatically creates a waste line for the remaining weight.

3. Click Apply.

4. Continue processing the converting job as normal. The generated output items can be edited individually if needed.
