How to turn on account numbers in QBO

cieTrade requires your chart of account to have account numbers. Here is a step by step guide on how to enable them in QuickBooks Online:

The account numbers feature is off by default. Here’s how to turn it on.

1. Login to QuickBooks Online

2. Go to Settings  and select Account and settings

3. Select the Advanced tab.

4. Select Edit ✎ in the Chart of accounts section.

5. Turn on Enable account numbers. If you want account numbers to show in reports and transactions, select Show account numbers.

6. Select Save and then Done.
