How can I have distinguish between different departments on invoice documents?
cieTrade allows users who have multiple departments an easy way to distinguish between department invoices to help reconcile invoices and payments recieved.
1. Under Settings> Departments
2. Click on each department and enter a unique 3 digit code for that department

NOTE: all departments must have this field filled, or the feature will not work.
3. Under Settings> Preferences> Invoices> check 'enable multiple department sequences'
If the departments have been set up properly you will be able to click Save Settings in the upper right hand corner. If not, you may receive an error message with how to modify or correct the set up. For example:

NOTE: this works for brokerage worksheets and Shipping worksheets. This does not work for Billingsheet invoices.
