Credit Limit

The Credit Limit report shows you key data with respect to the credit limit of a counterparty.

You have the ability to filter by Department, Account, and Sales Rep. NOTE: the AR module must be enabled (turned on) in order to use the credit limit function.

NOTE: the calculations for this report are controlled under Settings> Preferences> Credit. Most critical is the 'Include pending order and invoice value against' since that dictates what counts against the customers credit limit. Here is a brief summary: If you check 'Include pending order and invoice value against' then the total value of those open orders and staged worksheet will be counted against the credit limit.  If you leave this unchecked, then only invoiced status worksheets will be counted against the credit limit.

NOTE: cieTrade calculates Open Order Value using the net value of the goods and services, excluding VAT.  This field represents the value of unfulfilled orders rather than the anticipated gross invoice total.  VAT is treated separately as a tax collected on behalf of the applicable authority.

Consumed Credit

Is either ONLY the value Open A/R or the value of open A/R plus unposted invoices, and unshipped order value.  This is controlled by the second check box setting.
