Generate Billsheet

If you would like to generate your Billing Sheets in bulk, you can navigate to Service>Billing Manager and select 'Generate Billsheet.' This is a great option if you have several customers with scheduled services that you would like to stage in advance or if you use the Advance billing option and want to run all of the charges to invoice your customers on the first of the month. 

Note: Once this tool is run, it is not able to be undone without manually deleting each billsheet. Additionally, you cannot run this tool with the same parameters twice in the same date range.

1. Select the Reporting Period you would like to generate these Billingsheets for.

2. Select the Billing Mode (Note: this is typically 'Broker' unless you have charges set to 'Advanced Billing' on your Service Records).

3. Select the Department, or run for (ALL DEPARTMENTS).

4. Select the Customer or run for (ALL).

5. If you have selected a specific Customer, you can additionally select a specific location

6. Set the Billing Date.  

7. Set the status you would like your Billing Sheets set to  (Note: if you plan to use the 'Batch Invoice' feature, you may want to set them to 'Approved').

8. Assign Payment terms. If this is set to 'Default Terms' it will pull from the Counterparty default.

9. Assign Department (this will be the Department that shows on the created Billing Sheets).

10. Assign Trade Type. If this is set to 'Default Trade-Type' it will pull from the Counterparty default. This is an optional field. 

11. If your service records include charges with 'apply fuel surcharge' click 'Auto Apply Fuel Surcharge'. NOTE: the fuel surcharge will only be applied on the expense/charges that are marked 'apply fuel surcharge' on the service record AND that have a buy and/or sell fuel surcharge on the counterparty location level. If either of these are not met, then no fuel surcharge will be applied. 

Once you click 'Start', you will receive a notification when it is complete. The newly create BillingSheets will populate in the Billing Manager inquiry.
