Confirmed Pricing

The Confirmed Pricing feature allows users to approve the pricing of items on your orders before you move on to the next stage of the transaction.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to Settings > Preferences > System Options
  2. Enable the setting for Use Confirm Pricing Workflow

NOTE: There are two settings for this feature. One correlates to Purchase Orders, and the other for Sales Order. Please make a selection based on your requirements.

How to Use

Once enabled, you can begin using the confirmed pricing feature on orders.

  1. Navigate to a new or existing Order.
  2. Ensure the Order-Type is set to Contract.
  3. Fill out the order as you normally would (capturing the company, location, products, and any other details needed).
  4. Once a product is added, you will notice a checkmark (✓) within the product line. Clicking it toggles it between being approved and unapproved.

Leveraging the Price Manager

As you begin using the confirmed pricing workflow, you can leverage the Price Manager (found Pricing > Price Manager) to see which pricing has been confirmed, and what is still outstanding.

Additionally, you are able to confirm the price(s) directly from the inquiry. To do so, check off the line(s) for the product and price you would like to confirm, then click 'Confirm Price' at the top.
