Scheduled Reports

Within cieTrade, users have the option of setting up something called a Scheduled Report. To put it simply, it allows you to send an email containing one of the many reports within the system, to a list a recipients automatically. The reports that are available for you to choose from, are:

Name Description
Booking Cutoff Dates Mirrors the Booking inquiry based on the cutoff date.
Collections Report Simplified version of the A/R Aging Detail report. Returned results are based on the due date.
Scheduled Dispatches Mirrors the Dispatch inquiry based on the date and status.
Received Loads Mirrors the Receiving inquiry based on the received date.
Vendor Contracts Mirrors the Service Contract inquiry based on the expiration date.  

Getting Setup

All of your "Scheduled Reports" are managed within your settings. To begin using this feature, follow the steps below:

How to Find:

  1. Navigate to your Settings.
  2. Click on the Scheduled Reports tab. 

How to Setup:

  1. Check off the report(s) that you would like to enable.
  2. At the very top, next to the Save button, there is a field where you can set the time the report will be sent (daily). It is worth noting, that the email containing the report will be sent daily, at the selected time.
  3. Set the date range for what activity will be included in the report. Each report has a different list of options.
  4. Lastly, enter the email address for the recipient(s) of the report. Each report can have their own, unique list of recipients.
  5. Click Save Settings once you are finished.

NOTE: You can force the report to send by clicking the 'Test' button.

Additional Info

A few additional features you may be unaware of, but could help improve how you use the tool:

  • Time-Zone used for the 'Send Daily At'
    • The 'Send Daily At' time uses the time zone on your Organizational Profile.
  • How to Add Multiple Email Address
    • Multiple email addresses can be added by separating them by a comma (",").
  • How to Force the Email to Send
    • The Test button located at the end of each row will force the email report to send immediately, regardless of the 'Send Daily At' time.
