Updating Containers

Container information, such as the container number, seal, or other pieces of information, can be updated up until the point the container has been placed on a shipping worksheet, and sold. The method the container was created will determine where the container should be amended. The two methods of creation and the procedure to amend the information can be found below.

Receiving Ticket

  1. Navigate to the Receiving Ticket.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. The container details (such as container number, seal, booking and reference numbers) can be amended under the Container Reference section.
  4. Once finished, click Save.

NOTE: The quantity and price of the material can be amended as well, but will require you to take the ticket out of POSTED status, and undo any payables that are posted.

Container Management

  1. Navigate to the Container Management inquiry.
  2. Find the container and open the edit screen.
  3. The container details can be amended directly from this page.
  4. Once finished, click Save.
