Using Inventory Receiving and Shipping without tracking inventory

cieTrade has a unique workflow for users who need to create receiving and shipping worksheets for documentation and tonnage reports but who are not interested in tracking on hand, physical inventory counts. 

To set up:

1. On the left hand menu, click Product +

2. Enter the internal product name (how you refer to it as a company).

3. Under Inventory Model, select 'Do not track'

4. Select your Sales and Purchase Accounts

5. Click Save

When using the Receiving and Shipping worksheets, simply select the product. There will be no inventory showing on the inventory reports, nor will there be any stops or warnings in the system to stop you from overselling inventory levels.
